Moritz Schleime (born 1978, Berlin) is a German painter.

From 1998 to 2004 Schleime studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee with Hanns Schimansky und Werner Liebmann.

In his work Moritz Schleime transforms the world of popular culture and hipsterism to reflect a failing political system. Pulling on the classical elements from the history of art such as surrealism, Schleime places these in the urban backdrop of a postmodern Europe, where the explosiveness of colors is dripping down the canvas.

Moritz Schleime is the son of famous German painter, filmmaker and author Cornelia Schleime.
